Part of the Defensor Fortis Load Carrying System (DFLCS)
USAF SF M-249 SAW Gunner Kit consists of three (3) 200 round pouches, one (1) 9”x3”x5” utility pouch and one (1) 5”x3”x5” utility pouch. This kit is designed to attach to H-Gear harness. This is typically issued to M-249 SAW Gunners as part of the Air Force Security Forces Defensor Fortis Load Carriage System (DF-LCS). The M-249 SAW pouch has a split top access flap that allows the gunner to draw ammunition from either side of the pouch. The flap is held in place using adjustable straps with plastic clips. The inside of the pouch has an ammunition divider which uses an adjustable partition. The SAW pouch also has webbing on the outside for additional attachment options.
