Darrel Ralph 18-X-Ray DDR Rescue Knife

This rescue tool is made with the same great SAS opening system as the popular 18-XRay Tanto and 18-XRay Bowie, accept the blade is made for rescue situations. The SAS will not open in your pocket or close on your hand, because it is always in safe mode.  The safety part of the knife is built into the button like a Glock pistols safety on the trigger (same principal). The front of the blade (not sharpened) will not cut when weaving the blade through the material that is binding the person or items like a seat belt, tangled or binding situation from rope, vines, wires or straps. The blade tip doubles as a pry bar or screwdriver tip when needed. With the radial serrated blade, the edge has less tenancy to glide over, or slip past the material you are cutting. With DDRs non-slip edge configuration advantage, you can be assured of that extra few minutes that are needed to save a life. The rear of the knife employs a carbide glass breaker in case of a glass barrier of any type that needs to be broken through. You can feel secure using the DDR Rescue Knife in the most extreme circumstances.
