CIRLS Lighthead
CIRLS is an extremely rugged beacon system that has been engineered to meet the needs of Drop Zone (DZ) and Emergency Airfield (EAF) marking requirements by providing a dependable lightweight zone marking solution. The CIRLS system is currently utilized by United States Army and Air Force as well as NATO for high altitude DZ marking. Each CIRLS Light Head incorporates an 18-LED array in a domed head filled with a proprietary resin that enhances the LEDs light dispersion while sealing the electronic components from the environment.
The CIRLS Light Head is available in two different configurations. CIRLS Model B can easily be switched ON or OFF via a single switch on the side of the CIRLS Light Head. CIRLS Model A provides the same ON / OFF functionality, but also includes a day light sensor switch that can be enabled so the light head will be switched OFF automatically during the day. CIRLS Light Heads are offered in either Constant ON or Flashing modes and in a variety of light colors, including IR.
The CIRLS light head attaches to the MIL-STD BA-5598/U lithium pack battery or Cejay's 9V Battery Box (
sold separately). A Ten unit CIRLS Lighting system utilizing Cejay's 9V Battery Box including batteries weighs 10lbs. The CIRLS modular system may be tailored to meet the mission needs as hazard markers for airfield, road and waterway obstructions, or Drop Zone and Landing Zone markers.
Products with this Identifier are controlled for export purposes under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 C.F.R Chapter 1, Subchapter M, Parts 120-130) and require US State Department authorization prior to export to a non-US Person.
The items may not be resold, diverted, transferred, transshipped or otherwise disposed of in any other country other than the United States, either in their original form or after being incorporated through an intermediate process into other products without the prior written approval of the US State Department.
